Slopeside Engineers is a Rocky Mountain based firm established with the goal of improving the construction and design experience for our clients. We believe that every project provides an opportunity to improve and enhance our standards of practice and care. Our team has a diverse set of skills that can bring any type of project to life from a remodel to a custom commercial or residential build. We strive for the most innovative solutions and pride ourselves for our accurate 3-D models and fully detailed wall sections that facilitate coordination and ease of construction. We love working to meet the expectations of our clients and bring a happy and positive attitude to the team.
Our Mission
We set out to change what it means to be a structural engineering firm. Our mission is to seamlessly integrate the design and build process into one, allowing for enhanced project efficiency and cost savings for the client. This is accomplished through BIM collaborative modeling, a highly integrated project team, and a hands on approach during the construction phase.

Our Team
Bridger Rosen, PE (CO)
Managing Principal
Bridger is cofounder of Slopeside Engineers, LLC and he has a passion for all things construction including fine details and hard work. He completed both his bachelors and masters degree in Civil Engineering with Skyler at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Bridger has experience working in construction management and structural engineering, and he has spent most of his career working for top structural engineering firms and designing complex projects in the Roaring Fork Valley.
During his time working for structural firms, Bridger saw ways to improve the project delivery phase, communication, and coordination of drawings, thus leading to Slopeside Engineers, LLC. Bridger strives to be on the leading edge of clear communication, prompt responses, and fully coordinated drawings. His main devotion is providing unrivaled experience for high-end residential design and remodels. He also has experience in small and large scale commercial and consults on project delivery and construction management. Bridger has experience with all building materials light-frame wood, heavy timber, CLT, structural steel, reinforced concrete, and reinforced masonry. He loves to bring value to your projects.
Bridger also loves to spend time outdoors with his top activities being camping, running rivers, mountain biking, and skiing. He also is a licensed yoga teacher and spends time giving back to the community.
Skyler Fussner, PE (CO & MT)
Managing Principal
Skyler is cofounder of Slopeside Engineers, LLC and a licensed professional engineer in the state of Colorado and Montana. He received a bachelors and masters degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder alongside Bridger. He provides engineering services for new residential homes, multi-family projects and commercial buildings. He also designs remodels and additions for existing structures.
While he was working for his previous firm, Skyler designed multiple high-end residential homes and commercial projects. He was a key part in the implementation of carbon impact analysis tools to help determine how a structure may impact the environment. Carbon reduction is an area he intends to expand upon at Slopeside Engineers by offering an impact analysis option for every project big or small. Skyler has also been involved on the construction management and architectural side of things with his internships in college. His goal is to minimize the communication gap between all disciplines by getting everyone on the same page from the first meeting until the building is occupied.
Outside of the office you may see Skyler skiing, mountain biking, running, or camping with his 2 dogs and girlfriend. He also loves to help out with Habitat for Humanity to give back to others in the community.
